Vinters’ Velo 2024 Bordeaux Cycling Challenge
They've done it! Our merry band of 16 cyclists who took on the 2024 Vintners' Velo Cycling Challenge all in aid of the Vintners' Foundation, have successfully completed this 3-day event pedalling over 250 miles across the Bordeaux countryside.

Louisa Adams awarded Vintners’ UK Wine Apprentice Award
Hearty congratulations to Louisa Adams of Breaky Bottom Vineyard - winner of this year's Vintners’ UK Wine Apprentice Award, created to support an aspiring individual working in a UK winery. The award provides funding to study wine production at Plumpton College and the opportunity to study for a WSET qualification.

Vintners’ Company Wine Trade Lunch
It was a pleasure to host the Vintners’ Company Wine Trade Lunch today at Vintners’ Hall in aid of the Drinks Trust. Bringing together the great and the good from across the UK wine supply chain, all proceeds from ticket sales go towards helping the Drinks Trust to continue its valuable work to support members of the industry with financial, well-being and training support.

This week their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla attended a reception and dinner to recognise the work of the City of London civic institutions and Livery Companies at Mansion House. Guests included the Master Vintner, Ant Fairbank, pictured above meeting HM The Queen who is also a Vintner.
Vintners Flock to the Sheep Drive
Thank you to the Freemen of the Company who had some fun keeping history alive at this year's Sheep Drive - a celebration of the eccentric and wonderful tradition of the Freeman’s ancient “right” to bring sheep to market over the Thames, toll free - all expertly organised by the Worshipful Company of Woolmen.
